York University Foundation needed a launchpad for two key events in its history - the kick-off of "York to the Power of 50" a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the university, as well as a launch of its $200M capital fundraising campaign. We developed a dynamic event in the downtown showroom of BMW.


D├ęcor featured "50 red objects" in keeping with the disciplines of the university. Unique food and beverage emphasized the red theme. Entertainment featured alumni and Cirque du Soliel choreographer Deborah Brown and her troupe (on trampoline!), crooner Matt Dusk and the York cheerleading squad. Additional elements included a digital module highlighting the successes of the past 50 years as well as  staging, set design, lighting design, signage and print.
